Visit to NGO by NRI College
NRI Group of Institutions on 18th Dec 2019 made a visit to SOS Children’s Villages of India, Bhopal with their students. The NGO which is situated Khajuri Kalan, Piplani, Bhopal was established in the year 1987 which was especially formed due to Bhopal Gas Tragedy disaster, 1984 in which many children were left abandoned and disabled.
VISMT Principal Prof.(Dr.) Sunita Sharma co-ordinated with the director of SOS, Mr. Deepak Saxena and made the arrangements for the visit with the HOD and other Faculties along with 80 students of the college. Students spend a day and played with the children and also distributed biscuits and fruits to approx. 120 children. Also, the director with their staff of the NGO told the students about the working and facilities available in the NGO. Visits to such places by a college make students to value your life more, make it worth living, meaningful and to become a good helping human being.
