Report on Clinical Legal Aid Street Play Cyber-Crime Awareness

The Vidyadayini Institute of Science Management and Technology-Law Bhopal organized a legal awareness program, focusing on disseminating information about the unacceptable and illegal but extremely prevalent practice of cyber-crime. Students have prepared a street play or a ‘nukkad natak’ showing the various scenarios of how people can be subjected to this heinous offense and not even realize that they have recourse to a remedy. Around 27 students of LL.B. and B.A.LL.B. practiced for a week and finally showcased their skills in SOS FOUNDATION SCHOOL, Khajuri Kala, BHOPAL on 24/11/22, in front of orphaned students. Under the guidance of Dr. Girdhar Prasad Upwanshi, Principal, Dr. Mukesh Shukla Vice Principal & Dr. Palak Dwivedi HOD, and under the supervision of Mrs. Akansha Shrivastava, Asst. Prof. The audience became immensely engrossed in the play and understood the rights they were entitled to. It was a successful event as the audience received the message we were trying to send across.

Report on Human Right Day

Human Rights Day is celebrated every year on December 10 to commemorate the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), which was adopted and proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly in 1948 as a shared standard measure for the protection of human rights across the globe. The theme decided by the United Nations for this year’s Human Rights Day focuses on “EQUALITY – Reducing Inequalities, Promoting Human Rights”. The Vidyadayini Institute of Science Management and Technology Bhopal, under the guidance of Dr. Girdhar Prasad Upwanshi, Principal, Dr. Mukesh Shukla Vice Principal & Dr. Palak Dwivedi HOD, and under the supervision of Mrs. Akansha Shrivastava, Asst. Prof celebrated this day by organizing a play on the above-mentioned topic on the college campus. Besides, to educate the helping staff as well as the students of the Institute, Law students conducted Nukkad Natak in and inside the college campus.
