I feel very proud to introduce you to the Department of Mechanical Engineering, which is the first step for Engineers. We always intend to impart knowledge through a close-knit family of highly competent faculty.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in the year 2000 to impart quality education to budding Engineers. Our main vision is to provide skillful & knowledgeable graduates who will be technically sound, well cultured, and globally competent. Currently, our department is offering a B.E course in Mechanical Engineering with an intake of 240 and a Masters Program in Machine design (intake of 18) and Thermal Power Engineering (intake of 18). The strength of the department is its well-qualified and experienced faculty members & supporting staff with state-of-the-art laboratories & centers of excellence.

Our Laboratories have been very well established not only to cover the complete syllabus but to motivate students to learn beyond the syllabus which definitely develops complete knowledge of the subject (both the practical and theoretical depth of knowledge) and develop skill sets of students to become promising engineers in future.
