TalK’S on SDLC for Real-Time Projects & Practical Exposure on 13-04-24
Department of Master of Computer Application, NIIST organized a Talk’s on “SDLC FOR REAL-TIME PROJECTS & PRACTICAL EXPOSURE” on 13th April 2024. Speaker Mr. Neeraj Kumar (Technical Evangelist Cybrom Technology Pvt. Ltd) provided invaluable insights into the rapidly evolving landscape of technological advancements. Key discussions centered on emerging trends such as Planning: Statement of Work, Project Plan, Test Plan. Analysis: Requirement Specification, Use Case Document. Design: Design Doc.Implementation: Code Reviews. Testing: Test Result (as per the Test Plan in the planning phase) he Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is a structured process that enables the production of high-quality, low-cost software, in the shortest possible production time. The goal of the SDLC is to produce superior software that meets and exceeds all customer expectations and demands. SDLC comprises seven different stages: planning, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance. All are necessary for delivering a high-quality and cost-effective product in the shortest time frame possible. Moreover, the session underscored the critical role of data security and privacy in the implementation of these technologies. Participants gained a deeper understanding of how these trends are reshaping industries and learned strategies to harness their potential for organizational growth and competitiveness. Overall, the session served as a catalyst for informed decision-making and proactive adaptation to the dynamic technological landscape. MCA & IT student asked questions to expert. Workshop on Android App Development on 01 April – 05 April 2024
Department of Master of Computer Application, NIIST Bhopal conducted a workshop on “Android App Development Using Flutter and Firebase” on 01 TO 05 April -2024. Training Session was organized by the Department of Master of Computer Application in association with Coding Thinker Bhopal. A total of above 45 Students had registered for this workshop. Trainer Mr. Abinash Sood (Data Science and Quantum Engineer & Data Science Trainer at Coding thinker & Ex-IBM) demonstrates the Android App Development using Flutter and Firebase & java. The student will able to implement the Android App Development model for the real-world problem. This workshop is very fruitful for the Prefinal Year student.

In the seminar, Mr. Ashwin Kadam (Business Development Executive ) & Abhishek Dhok (Manager), which improve user experience by fusing the finest aspects of Data Science. He stated that as companies prioritize seamless cross-platform functionality, this trend is anticipated to pick up steam. He talked about the growing trends in Data Science.
Seminar offered insightful information about the ever-evolving field of data science. The need for qualified data science will always exist as technology develops, providing a wide range of opportunities for individuals who are ready to adapt and lead in this dynamic industry.

Freshers Party Udveda 2K23 Organizing On 04/11/2023
“Freshers Party” in any college is an event that every student eagerly awaits since time of admission. 4TH of November 2023 was a memorable day in the life of all students in MCA Department. The moment was filled with excitement, joy, music, enthusiasm, laughter, and happiness.
The Chief Guest of the event was Dr. Puran Gour Principal, NRI-Institute of Information Science and Technology, the guests were given a floral welcome by Prof. Shatendra Dubey (H.O.D).
The Event started with the ramp walk for the title of Mr. & Miss. Freshers. The first round of ramp walk included only introduction. The second round of ramp walk included games and activities for the contestant so that they could be finalized for the final round. The shortlisted candidates were selected for the final judge’s round.

Department of Master of Computer Application (MCA) and Information Technology jointly organized a webinar on LEGAL AND ETHICAL STEPS PRODUCTIVE ENTERPRENEURSHIP AND START-UP. For this session our eminent speaker was Mr. Hitesh Mohan (Founder & CEO Signcent LLP in India and Signcent LLC in US) where he enlightened our students with how to start a Start-up, what are the basic requirement behind this, how to file your Patent etc. Near about 45 students attend this on-line session.
The program was started with the warm welcome of Principal Dr. Puran Gour Sir by the Prof. Shatendra Kumar Dubey (Head of Department). Then the program proceeded with the speech of principal sir where he shared an insightful knowledge to our students.
Ganesh Utsav Celebration On 24-09-2023
Ganesh Utsav, the festival of Lord Ganesha, was celebrated at NRI Institute of Information Science & Technology Bhopal with great devotion and enthusiasm. All Faculties, students and staff came together to participate in various festivities during this auspicious occasion.
On the day of 24th September, the event was organized by department of MCA. Celebrations began with a ceremonial puja that was initiated by the Head of MCA Prof Shatendra Dubey & Asst. Prof. Dev Nagar which marked the commencement of a spiritually significant day. The puja was conducted with traditional rituals, including the lighting of the lamp, Vedic chants, and offerings to Lord Ganesha’s idol. The presence of respected Principal Dr. Puran Gour Sir added a sense of solemnity and reverence to the event.
Teacher’s Day Celebration
On 5th of September 2022 on the occasion of Teachers Day, the students of Master of Computer Application(MCA) and Information Technology (IT) celebrate a Teachers Day program in honor of our Teachers. In academic institutions, among the various events celebrated every year, Teachers’ Day is considered an important occasion. It is one day in the whole academic year when teachers are made to feel special and valued. On Teachers’ Day, students put up cultural performances and conduct games for teachers. The Institution, on the other hand, provides a special lunch or refreshments and mementos as a token of appreciation to teachers for the invaluable service they render. Every teacher deserves to be recognized, and a day like Teachers’ Day would be the perfect occasion to do so. They organize the cake-cutting ceremony and some special events for teachers, Like Chair Races, Solo Songs, and so on.
Mr. Shatendra Dubey (H.O.D) of MCA-IT Deptt has addressed us students and outlined we giving a speech on the importance of teachers in our life, It is like a tree, under the shadow of a tree you can learn many things and complete our journey.
Seminar on How to Start a Career in Cyber-Security
Master of Computer Application and Information Technology Department in NIIST Organized a “Seminar on How to start a career in cyber security”. Our Expert speaker was Mr. Aman Kumar (CEH Certified Ethical Hacker). It gives information regarding how to update your Technical skills according to Industry requirements. How to prepare for Interview technical skill set. He also provides some links for students for small projects on cyber security. He also guided students, on how to crack certification courses. It was a very interactive session Students also asked their questions about industries’ work culture and the company’s demand. About 75 students attend this session and take advantage of their experiences.
FRESHERS PARTY AAGAZ ORGANIZING ON 01/02/23
“Freshers Party” in any college is an event that every student eagerly awaits from their time of admission. The 1ST of February was a memorable day in the life of every fresher of 1st year in MCA Deptt. The Fresher’s Day was filled with excitement, joy, music, enthusiasm, laughter, and happiness. The Dress code for the party was “BLACK TROUSER WITH MEHRON SHIRT”.
The Chief Guest for the event was Dr. Rajeev Arya, Director, and Dr. Puran Gour Vice-Principal, NRI-Institute of Information Science and Technology, The guests were given a floral welcome by Prof. Shatendra Dubey (H.O.D),
The Event started with the Competition of Mr & Miss Freshers. The first round was of ramp walk and introduction of the freshers. The second round of performance included show games for the contestant ending in the final round with the Judges Round.
