The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized an expert talk on “Cyber Shield 2025: Secure Yourself, Secure the Nation”, delivered by Mr. Kuldeep Verma, Cyber Expert from the Indian Cyber Academy.
The session focused on the importance of cyber awareness, data protection, ethical hacking, and preventive measures for ensuring digital safety. More than 100 students participated actively in the interactive session, gaining valuable insights into the latest trends and challenges in cyber security.
The event was graced by Dr. Puran Gour, Principal, Dr. Vandana Khare, Dean Academics
& Head, CSE Department, along with faculty members. The talk proved to be
an inspiring experience, motivating students to act responsibly in the digital

8-Day Training on DSA with Java Concludes Successfully!
RICR Pvt. Ltd. conducted an impactful 8-day training program on Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) with Java from 21st to 28th April for pre-final year students of CSE, IT, MCA, and AIML.
Led by expert trainer Mr. Pranav Das, Corporate Trainer, RICR, the sessions offered in-depth understanding of core DSA concepts, practical problem-solving, and Java coding techniques. With daily assignments, live problem-solving, and hands-on coding tasks, students gained valuable industry-relevant skills. The initiative was guided by Dr. Puran Gour, Principal of NIIST, and smoothly coordinated by Prof. Anurag Shrivastava, HoD, CSE, NIIST. The training concluded with a comprehensive computation/test on 29th April, assessing students’ learning’s.
Expert Session On “Entrepreneurship as a Career – My Story of Innovation & Growth”
Department of Computer Science and Engineering conducted an expert session on “Entrepreneurship as a Career – My Story of Innovation & Growth” on 14th February 2025 at the Lata Mangeshkar Auditorium, NIIST under the banner of Institute Innovation Council and IQAC. The session featured Dr. Ajay Kumar Choubey, a renowned entrepreneur and innovator, who shared his inspiring journey of building a successful career in entrepreneurship. The event was coordinated by Prof. Vaibhav Patel and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and aspiring entrepreneurs. Industrial Visit to Netlink Pvt. Ltd. on 13 Feb 25
The Department of CSE organized an industrial visit for B.Tech. students to Netlink Pvt. Ltd. to provide insights into IT industry operations, technologies, and work culture.

Seminar Report on Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking on 14/9/24
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at NRI Institute of Information Science and Technology, Bhopal, conducted a seminar on Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking featuring two esteemed speakers, Mr. Kuldeep Verma, Cyber Expert, Indian Cyber Expert, and Mr. Mayank Narware, Ethical Hacker, Indian Cyber Expert. The seminar commenced with a warm welcome by Prof. Anurag Shrivastava, Head of the Department (CSE), who introduced the importance of cyber security in today’s digital age. Prof. Shrivastava emphasized the need for future engineers to be well-versed in cyber security protocols and ethical hacking methodologies to safeguard organizations and users from cyber threats.

1. Mr. Kuldeep Verma, Cyber Expert, Indian Cyber Expert
Mr. Kuldeep Verma, a distinguished cyber security expert, discussed the increasing prevalence of cybercrime and the crucial role of cyber security professionals in safeguarding digital infrastructures. He presented real-world case studies highlighting data breaches, ransomware attacks, and phishing incidents, showcasing the various techniques used by cybercriminals.
Mr. Verma emphasized the importance of adopting proactive cyber security strategies, explaining concepts such as network security, cloud security, and application security. He encouraged students to develop a deep understanding of these areas to protect sensitive data effectively.
2. Mr. Mayank Narware, Ethical Hacker, Indian Cyber Expert
Mr. Mayank Narware, an ethical hacker, provided an engaging and interactive session on ethical hacking, focusing on penetration testingand vulnerability assessment. He explained the principles behind ethical hacking and how it differs from malicious hacking.
Mr. Narware demonstrated live hacking techniques and provided hands-on experience to the students, covering topics such as SQL injection, brute force attacks, and cross-site scripting (XSS). His practical approach allowed students to understand how ethical hackers identify and fix security vulnerabilities, helping organizations strengthen their cyber defense systems.
The seminar provided students with the opportunity to gain practical exposure to various cyber security tools and techniques. Both speakers conducted live demonstrations, allowing students to participate in basic ethical hacking activities, which gave them a hands-on understanding of real-world cyber security challenges.
At the end of the seminar, Prof. Anurag Shrivastava delivered the vote of thanks, expressing his gratitude to Mr. Kuldeep Verma and Mr. Mayank Narware for sharing their valuable insights and practical knowledge with the students. He also appreciated the active participation of the students and faculty members in making the seminar a success.

Report on Hindi Diwas Celebration at CSE, NIIST
On the 14th of September 2024, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, NIIST celebrated Hindi Diwas with great enthusiasm to promote the importance and usage of the Hindi language. The event was organized with the aim of fostering national pride in our linguistic heritage and encouraging students and staff to embrace Hindi as part of their daily communication. A series of activities were planned for the day, with the highlight being the Online Quiz Competition and the distribution of e-certificates to the participants.
Objective:
The event was organized to:
- Encourage students to participate in activities that promote the national language.
- Provide a platform for students to showcase their knowledge of Hindi literature, culture, and history through an engaging quiz competition.
Event Overview:
- Welcome Address: The celebration began with a welcome address by the Head of Department, CSE, NIIST. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of Hindi as the official language of India and its role in uniting the nation. He encouraged everyone to take pride in Hindi and contribute towards promoting it.
- Online Quiz Competition: One of the major attractions of the celebration was the Online Quiz Competition conducted via a digital platform. The quiz, which tested participants’ knowledge of Hindi language, literature, culture, and history, witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across all departments.
- Participation: Over 110 students registered for the quiz competition.
- Quiz Format: The quiz consisted of 325 multiple-choice questions, with a time limit of 35 minutes. The questions were designed to cover various aspects of Hindi, including grammar, famous literary works, historical facts, and idioms.
- Winners: The top 10 performers were selected based on their scores and timing, and their names were announced at the end of the event.
- E-Certificate Distribution: To honor the efforts of all participants, e-certificates were generated and distributed to every student who took part in the competition.
Conclusion:
The Hindi Diwas celebration at Department of CSE, NIIST was a resounding success. The Online Quiz Competition helped in creating a positive environment for the promotion of Hindi. The event fostered a sense of pride in the students for their national language, while the e-certificates provided recognition for their active participation.
The college looks forward to organizing more such events in the future to continue promoting the rich cultural heritage of India, and the students are already excited for the next edition of Hindi Diwas celebrations.
Workshop Report Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking
On 28/05/2024, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, NIIST organized a one day workshop on Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking aimed at enlightening engineering students about the importance of cybersecurity in today’s digital age. The workshop provided participants with insights into various cybersecurity concepts, tools, and ethical hacking techniques. Instructor of this workshop Mr. Raj Pawar, Certified Security Engineer, Global Defensive Security start the workshop commenced with an overview of cybersecurity, covering topics such as the importance of cybersecurity in modern society, common cyber threats, and the role of ethical hacking in securing digital assets. This session delved into the ethical hacking landscape, exploring the principles, methodologies, and ethical considerations involved in ethical hacking practices. Participants gained insights into the ethical hacker’s mindset and the importance of conducting security assessments ethically. Participants were introduced to a variety of cybersecurity tools and techniques used by professionals in the field. Practical demonstrations were provided, showcasing the usage of tools such as Wireshark, and Nmap for network analysis, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessment. Case studies and real-world examples of cybersecurity incidents were discussed to illustrate the significance of proactive security measures. Participants analyzed past breaches and learned valuable lessons on incident response and mitigation strategies. The workshop concluded with a session on career opportunities in cybersecurity and ethical hacking. Industry experts shared insights into various career paths, certification programs, and skill development initiatives available to aspiring cybersecurity professionals. The workshop served as a platform to inspire students to pursue careers in cybersecurity and make meaningful contributions to safeguarding digital assets.
Report on Innothon 2.0
Introduction:
Innothon 2.0, a highly anticipated hackathon, code craft challenge and startup spark, took place on 26 & 27 April 2024 at NIIST. Organized by CSE, Department this event aimed to bring together innovators, developers, entrepreneurs, and industry experts to collaborate, ideate, and create innovative solutions to real-world problems. In Innothon 2.0 there are three different events will be organized detail of the event are follow as:
Event Highlights:
Hackathon Competition: In “Hackathon” student present their problem solving ideas based on given themes in PPT which is uploaded in registration link before last date of registration. In finale selected teams have to show working prototype/ projects with insights in detail.
10 teams participants in these hackathon. 11 teams was participant in this hackathon from various institutions and 06 teams selected for final round.
Startup Spark: “Startup Spark” is a thrilling competition designed to ignite creativity and forward-thinking in the startup ecosystem. Participants are present their developed and innovative ideas that have the potential to disrupt industries and drive positive change.
Code Craft Challenges: “Code Craft Challenge” is a competitive event where coders develop coding solutions with pushing the boundaries of logic and programming competencies. To learn, collaborate, and showcase their talent. With a diverse range of challenges spanning various domains and difficulty levels, Code Craft Challenges aims to foster a vibrant community of passionate programmers and inspire continuous learning and improvement. 22 teams was participant in this competition from various institutions.

“Create-a-Thon” (Poster Making, Reel Making & Blog Writing Competition)
The Create-a-Thon event, comprising Poster Making, Reel Making, and Blog Writing competitions, was held on 22nd March 2024 at Second Floor NIIST. Organized by Department of Computer Science & Engineering, the event aimed to harness creativity and talent across various mediums while providing participants with a platform to showcase their skills.
Event Structure:
The Create-a-Thon was structured into three main competitions:
Poster Making Competition: Participants were tasked with creating visually appealing posters on a given theme. They were provided with art supplies and a designated time frame to complete their artworks.
Reel Making Competition: Participants were challenged to produce short reels or videos, showcasing their storytelling abilities. They had access to video editing tools and equipment to bring their ideas to life.
Blog Writing Competition: Writers were given the opportunity to craft engaging blog posts on a specified topic. They were encouraged to express their thoughts creatively and effectively within the word limit provided.
Participation and Judging:
The event attracted 25 participants from diverse backgrounds and skill sets. Judges, comprising experts in art, film, and writing, evaluated the submissions based on criteria such as creativity, originality, technical proficiency, and adherence to the theme.

The session commenced with an overview of the current trends and technologies shaping modern web development, emphasizing the increasing demand for skilled professionals in areas such as full-stack development, cloud computing, and mobile optimization. Seasoned industry experts elaborated on the essential skills required to thrive in this competitive landscape, including proficiency in programming languages like JavaScript, Python, and frameworks such as React and Angular. Participants gained valuable perspectives on the significance of continuous learning and adaptability in staying abreast of emerging technologies. Expert Session on Cyber Fusion
A Cyber Security awareness program was organized by NRI ACM Student Chapter, Department of CSE on 06 March 2024, Mr. Abhishek Chauria, Founder MentorBot & Cyber Security Analyst gave suggestions to students for prevention from cyber crimes. Cyber Security Awareness Program conducted at NIIST Seminar Hall aimed at educating employees on the importance of cyber security practices and instilling a proactive approach towards safeguarding organizational assets.
Objectives:
- Increase awareness among employees regarding common cyber threats and their potential impact on organizational operations.
- Educate employees about best practices for safeguarding sensitive information and maintaining data integrity.
- Equip employees with the necessary knowledge to identify and report suspicious activities or security breaches promptly.
- Foster a culture of accountability and responsibility concerning cyber security practices across all levels of the organization.
Outcomes and Impact:
Increased Awareness: Post-program surveys indicated a significant improvement in employees’ awareness and understanding of cyber security threats and best practices. Participants demonstrated a heightened sense of vigilance and reported being more cautious when handling sensitive information.
Reduced Incidents: The implementation of the Cyber Security Awareness Program coincided with a noticeable decline in security incidents such as malware infections, unauthorized access attempts, and data breaches. This suggests that employees were better equipped to identify and mitigate potential risks proactively.
Improved Response Rates: Simulated phishing campaigns saw a steady increase in employees’ ability to recognize and report phishing attempts accurately. This trend indicates a positive shift in employees’ behavior towards exercising caution when interacting with suspicious emails.

Integration with on boarding Processes: Incorporating cyber security awareness training into the on boarding process for new hires can help instill a culture of security from the outset and ensure that all employees receive consistent training.
Engagement and Recognition: Recognizing and rewarding employees who demonstrate exemplary cyber security practices can incentivize positive behavior and further reinforce the importance of cyber security awareness across the organization.
Regular Assessments: Conducting periodic assessments and evaluations of the organization’s cyber security posture can help identify areas of improvement and inform the development of targeted training initiatives to address specific vulnerabilities.

3 Days workshop on Fullstack Development
Department of CSE, NIIST organised a 3 days workshop on “Fullstack Development” on 22th feb 2024 to 24th feb 2024. Trainer Mr. Prateek Mishra from TechSim+ Technologies Bhopal conduct the training session. HoD CSE inauguration and welcome the trainer also motivate the students for the training session.
Day 1: Introduction to Fullstack Development
The first day of the Fullstack Development workshop commenced with an overview of the essential concepts and principles of fullstack development. Participants were introduced to the frontend and backend components of web development, along with the importance of understanding both to create cohesive and functional web applications. The sessions included discussions on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for frontend development, as well as server-side scripting languages such as Node.js and frameworks like Express.js for backend development. Hands-on exercises and tutorials enabled participants to gain practical experience in setting up development environments and creating basic web applications. The day concluded with a discussion on the importance of version control systems like Git and collaborative development practices.
Day 2: Frontend Development and User Experience Design
The focus of the second day shifted towards frontend development and user experience (UX) design aspects of fullstack development. Participants delved deeper into advanced frontend technologies such as responsive design, CSS frameworks like Bootstrap, and JavaScript libraries like React.js for building interactive user interfaces. Additionally, sessions on UX design principles provided insights into creating intuitive and user-friendly web experiences. Practical exercises allowed participants to apply their knowledge in designing and implementing frontend components, optimizing performance, and enhancing user engagement. The day concluded with a group project where participants collaborated to develop a frontend prototype for a given scenario, incorporating principles learned throughout the day.
Day 3: Backend Development and Deployment
On the final day, participants focused on backend development and deployment strategies to complete the fullstack development journey. Sessions covered topics such as database management using SQL and NoSQL databases, server-side programming, API development, and authentication and authorization mechanisms. Participants gained hands-on experience in building backend services, integrating them with frontend components, and deploying applications to cloud platforms like Heroku or AWS. Practical demonstrations and real-world examples illustrated best practices in backend development and deployment, including scalability, security, and performance optimization. The workshop concluded with a showcase of participant projects, providing an opportunity for feedback and reflection on the skills acquired throughout the three-day journey in fullstack development.

Department of CSE, NIIST organised a expert session on “Expert Session on Industry Trend Technology” on 12th feb 2024. Industry expert Mr. Prateek Mishra (MD & Trainer TechSim+) provided invaluable insights into the rapidly evolving landscape of technological advancements. Key discussions centered around emerging trends such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT), and augmented reality. Experts emphasized the importance of staying agile and adaptable in the face of constant innovation. They highlighted the transformative potential of these technologies across various sectors including healthcare, finance, and manufacturing. Moreover, the session underscored the critical role of data security and privacy in the implementation of these technologies. Participants gained a deeper understanding of how these trends are reshaping industries and learned strategies to harness their potential for organizational growth and competitiveness. Overall, the session served as a catalyst for informed decision-making and proactive adaptation to the dynamic technological landscape. CSE student asked questions to expert. On this Occasion Principal of NIIST and HoD CSE welcome the guest. All faculty members and students of CSE department participated in the session.

Department of Computer Science and Engineering, NIIST, Bhopal was organized an expert session on Intellectual Property Rights, the aim of this session on intellectual property rights (IPR) was to increase participants’ knowledge and comprehension of the significance, difficulties, and developments in the field of intellectual property. The goal of the session was to impart important knowledge about the tactical and legal aspects of intellectual property protection. Speaker provided a comprehensive overview of various forms of intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. The session emphasized the role of IPR in fostering innovation and creativity.

Seminar on Web Development and its Opportunities on 29/01/24
Department of Computer Science and Engineering, NIIST and Sheryians Coding School, Bhopal was organized a seminar on Web Development and is Opportunities, the aim of this seminar is to provide the industry exposure and aware the need of industry to our students. In the seminar, Mr. Ali Ansari addressed about the emergence of PWAs, which improve user experience by fusing the finest aspects of mobile and web applications. He stated that as companies prioritize seamless cross-platform functionality, this trend is anticipated to pick up steam. He talked about the growing trend in web development is the incorporation of AI and machine learning. This improves the efficacy and efficiency of web applications and includes chatbots, automated decision-making, and personalized user experiences.
The web development seminar offered insightful information about the ever-evolving field of web development. The need for qualified web developers will always exist as technology develops, providing a wide range of opportunities for individuals who are ready to adapt and lead in this dynamic industry.
Workshop on Machine Learning on 06 to 08 Nov. 23
The Machine Learning Workshop, conducted by Department of Computer Science and Engineering, NIIST Bhopal in collaboration with the Coding Thinker Pvt. Ltd. Bhopal, was a comprehensive three-day program designed to introduce students and faculty to the latest developments in the field of machine learning. The workshop aimed to provide participants with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in machine learning techniques and applications.

Workshop Highlights
Day 1: Introduction to Machine Learning
The first day of the workshop started with an overview of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and its importance in today’s technology landscape. Practical sessions included setting up development environments and implementing basic machine learning models using Python and popular libraries like scikit-learn.
Participants gained insights about supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.
Day 2: Advanced Topics
The second day focused on advanced machine learning topics such as deep learning, neural networks, and natural language processing. Hands-on workshops introduced participants to deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch. During the session case studies of real-world applications, including image recognition and sentiment analysis, were discussed.
Day 3: Application and Projects
The final day revolved around applying machine learning in real-world scenarios. Participants were divided into groups to work on machine learning projects and present their findings. Representatives from Coding Thinker, Pvt. Ltd. provided guidance and mentorship. Expert Session on “Internet of Things” on 04 Oct. 23
Department of Computer Science and Engineering conducted a workshop on “Internet of Things” on 04-October-2023, an expert from industry Mr. Abhigyan Kumar were the key-speaker. During the session, expert gave the practical knowledge of IoT and its application. IoT play a vital role in now days in various fields like Industries, Office automation and Home automation. Expert also discussed different practical approach to students and demonstrates the code in IoT Platform. Session was very interactive as the expert solves student queries related to IoT. Ms. Satakchi Vaidhya-Student of AIML III Sem and Mr. Udit-Student of CSE III sem gave thanks to speaker for giving valuable and career-oriented information to all the students. Ganesh Utsav Celebration
Ganesh Utsav, the festival of Lord Ganesha, was observed at NRI Institute of Information Science & Technology Bhopal with great devotion and enthusiasm. All Faculties, students and staff came together to participate in various festivities during this auspicious occasion.
On the day of 21st September the all events has been organized by department of CSE. Celebration began with a ceremonial puja that was initiated by Head CSE Prof Anurag Shrivastava . This marked the commencement of a spiritually significant day. The puja was conducted with traditional rituals, including the lighting of the lamp, Vedic chants, and offerings to Lord Ganesha’s idol. Our Respected Principal Dr. Puran Gour Sir presence added a sense of solemnity and reverence to the event. Through Pooja Thali Decoration and Rangoli making Competition whole atmosphere was charged with festivity. Astha , CSE – III rd semester and Sanjana – CSE –Vth Semester win this Competition.
Badminton Tournament on 20 Sep. 23
The Badminton tournament took place on September 20, 2023, at NIIST’s badminton court. There were many participants during the half-day event. Participants in the competition included 17 single men and 15 single women.
The participants assembled in great numbers with more passion, making the event a huge success. The adage “practice makes a man perfect”, most of the players who took part displayed the same. It was a fantastic demonstration of talent. When it counted most, they accepted the challenge and gave it their all. The office bearers were enthusiastic and very keen to manage the event. There were some heart-pounding conclusions. The crowd made the occasion more fun. A sizable crowd came to cheer on the competitors. They weren’t disappointed as they got to experience some wonderful display of talent. Overall it was a great experience for the students and they gave their best. It was encouraging to see the students putting in so much effort.

Expert Session on “Unlocking the Power of Blockchain” on 12 Sep. 23
An expert session on “Unlocking the Power of Block Chain” was conducted by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, NIIST on September 12th, 2023. Mr. Mohd. Ali Ansari was the speaker for the session, where he stated that blockchain increases trust, security, transparency, and the traceability of data shared across a business network and delivers cost savings with new efficiencies. Mr. Ansari included that there is a high demand for people with blockchain skills as it is widely applied. They look for those who have the skills to navigate this new technology.
The session was very interactive and useful for future engineers who want to make their career in this field. The CSE department always aims to educate students on emerging technologies, and market demands and works on the overall growth and development of an individual. Expert Session on “Cyber Crime Awareness and Career Opportunities” on 09 Sep. 23
An expert session on “Cyber Crime Awareness and Career Opportunities” was conducted by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, NIIST on September 9, 2023. The speaker for the session was Mr. Abhishek Chouriya, founder of MentorBot who also works as a cyber security analyst. Mr. Chouriya briefed the students about the recent cybercrimes happening in the contemporary world and also suggested effective security measures for the same. He further emphasized ethical hacking techniques to prevent malicious attacks and intrusion.
He also discussed different career options available in the cybersecurity industry. Cybersecurity is a new emerging topic worldwide. Protecting data in today’s era is the main concern as it requires some rigid measures and dedicated technical experts. This brings various job options available in the area of cyber security. The students were able to learn about different sorts of attacks, attackers, security threats, and vulnerabilities present in the computer system, as well as tools and strategies to protect oneself in cyberspace, as a result of this seminar on cyber security and ethical hacking.

On 22-August-2023, Tuesday, Department of Computer Science and Engineering conducted an “Interaction with Industry Expert”. This Session is organized by Department of CSE in association with Techsim+ Pvt. Ltd. Mr. Prateek Mishra, MD, Techsim+ Pvt. Ltd. Bhopal interacted with the students of CSE, NIIST and gave lots of information regarding the current scenario, industry demands, and how the student will prepare themselves for the industry. These kinds of sessions play a significant role in their life.

The speaker of the seminar is Mr. Hemraj Singh Chouhan, RHCA, Corporate Trainer. In this seminar speaker, Mr. Chouhan aware the students about web security, which is a broad category of security solutions that guards against internet-based cyberattacks, such as malware, phishing, and other threats that can result in breaches and data loss, for your users, devices, and larger network. Through a mix of firewall inspection, intrusion prevention system (IPS) scanning, sandboxing, URL filtering, and several other security and access restrictions, it lowers the security risk to your company when your users unintentionally visit harmful files and websites. In-House Training on Web Development on 12/01/23
Department of Computer Science and Engineering conducted six days of In-house training on Web Development. In this training session, students of the department learned the various tools of web development, HTML, CSS, and scripting language, it was a handout training session of three hours daily. This training was successfully given by Prof. Nitesh Gupta, CSE, NIIST. Students were satisfied and they participated in an enthusiastic manner. On the last day of training an online examination was conducted and as per their results, students will get the certificate.

Department of CSE, NIIST has organized a seminar on “Software Development Techniques”. On this occasion, Mr. Aman Singhal Chief Operating Officer Pepleaf (Alumni of IIT Kanpur) give guidance & tips about software development techniques and preparation for campus placement. DETAILS OF JOURNEY: Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized an industrial visit on 16 December 2022 to Netlink Software Private Limited located in mandideep Industrial Estate for the students of Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The visit was organized by the Training and Placement department of NRI Group of Institutions Bhopal Mr. Deepesh and Prof. Srastika were the coordinator’s Faculty for the industrial visit. We started traveling from the college campus at 11:30 am via our college bus. Totally 50 students along with 2 coordinators faculty were there on the journey.

Expert Lecture on Linux Technology
Department of Computer Science and Engineering and our training partner Red hat conducted an expert lecture on Linux Technology on 10th December 2022, at NIIST in order to spread Linux literacy among the students of the college belonging to the computer science domain. Mr. Praveen Kumar, RHCE, Expertise in K8s, Linux, Ansible automation, Trainer at ITE. Students of second-year and third-semester students of the CSE department attend the lecture. The speaker deliver a lecture on Linux technology and its uses in today’s scenarios, he differentiated between Linux and other operating systems, and he aware the students regarding the open and closed-source systems, He give practical examples to the students. Today (20/09/2022) Department of Computer Science and Engineering and our training partner Red Hat conducted a seminar on DevOps. It is a set of practices that clubs software development (Dev) and IT operations (Ops). Its goals are to shorten the systems development life cycle and provide incessant delivery with high software quality. DevOps is complementary to agile software development; several DevOps aspects came from the agile way of working. Mr. Hemraj Singh Chouhan, Red Hat Trainer, focused on cyber security issues. The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, NIIST organized an Industrial Visit to NITTTR – Bhopal on 23rd September 2022. The Visit was indeed a great experience for 2nd & 3rd-year students as it created awareness among them about NITTTR Bhopal – SIEMENS- (CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE).

In –House Technical Training On Advance Excel and Fundamentals of SQL on 02/09/2022
Department of Computer Science and Engineering conducted ten days of house technical training on Advance Excel and Fundamental SQL for third-year B.Tech. students, in these ten days, daily three hours practical and theory sessions were taken by the faculties of the computer science and engineering department, NIIST. The purpose of this training is to equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to use advanced data operations such as summarising, PivotTables, data consolidations, goal seeking, Solver, creating lookup functions, setting Excel working options, enhancing charts, protecting worksheet data, and creating and using macros. One of MS Excel’s key benefits is that it makes data entry quick and simple. When compared to other data entry and analysis applications, MS Excel has features like a Ribbon interface, which is a menu of commands used to carry out certain tasks. The ribbon is made up of many tabs, which themselves are made up of many command groups and their buttons. By pressing the appropriate button, you can choose the commands and carry out activities quickly. Alternatives for accurate comparisons and analysis: For the proper comparison and analysis of substantial amounts of data, MS Excel offers a wide variety of analytical tools. You may filter and sort through a lot of data using sophisticated methods, making it simpler for you to get the information you need. Students in this training get knowledge of certain fundamental MySQL query statements. Students learn how to use the SELECT statement and select statement clauses like FROM, DISTINCT, WHERE, ORDER BY, and LIMIT to retrieve database data. Then students go through how to query several tables with a join keyword and how to utilize a JOIN term to mix data from other tables. Discuss cross joins inner joins, and outer joins, three different forms of joins. The trainer covered how to utilize an outer join and an inner join to find rows that match and those that don’t. Total of forty students of third-year B.Tech. Registered and attend the training sessions.

Department of Computer Science and Engineering conducted six days of house technical training on MS –Office for first-year B.Tech. students, in these six days, daily three hours practical and theory sessions were taken by the faculties of the computer science and engineering department, NIIST. MS Office is a collection of programs made to increase productivity and carry out typical operations on a computer. You can make presentations and posters, deal with data in databases and spreadsheets, and create and edit documents with text and images. Seventy students are registered for this training and students clear their doubts regarding topics and they are attending the training enthusiastically manner. MS Office is a very popular program that is used by every person in any field in their day-to-day life. The objective of conducting this training is to be familiar with how to use Microsoft office and to be able to develop papers that can be printed and shared. The capacity to produce and distribute presentations. Being able to control and keep data in a spreadsheet.

Our speaker Dr. BireshwarMazumdar has earned his Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Engineering IIT (BHU), He has a long teaching and research experience. Currently working as Professor &Head of Department, Computer Science and Engineering, Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology Prayagraj (Allahabad), U.P., India. He said globally it is continuously increasing the number of distributed energy components and devices. As a consequence, distributed control techniques and the vast number of information are desirable for the management and use of these devices. Agent-based technology has become a powerful tool for engineering applications in recent years. Multi-agent systems (MASs) are an excellent option for distributed control as a computational paradigm. This paper discusses MASs and their applications. The system architecture, consensus method, multi-agent platform, framework, and simulator are examined in the cutting-edge literature.
