National Science Day celebration
A three-day National Science Day celebration was organised in our college, catalysed by the MPCST. On the first day (7/3/26), the Chief Guest SDOP Antima Samadhiya Tiwari and the speaker Dr. Ambika Singh highlighted the role of women in science and explained the concept of Raman Spectroscopy. On the second day, (9/3/26)the programme was graced by Dr. Archana Singh. On the third day, (10/3/26) the celebration was honoured by the presence of the renowned Associate Professor Rampal Pandey. To encourage creativity and scientific awareness among students, activities such as Technical Rangoli, Poster Making, Project Exhibition, Speech, and Essay competitions were conducted. Overall, the three-day celebration proved to be highly informative, engaging, and successful in fostering scientific temperament among the students.
Meditation & Yoga Workshop” on December 27, 2025
NRI Institute of Information Science & Technology, Bhopal, NSS unit affiliated to Barkatullah University, Bhopal, organized the 2nd session of “Meditation & Yoga Workshop” on December 27, 2025. The workshop aimed to promote stress management, mental peace, and positive thinking among students. Trainers Ms. Rachna Shivhare, Mr. Mukesh Napit, and Ms. Seema Gulati guided participants. 63 volunteers participated, with Programme Officer Dr. Mukesh Chandel, Co-Programme Officer Prof. Jalaj Tenguria, Dean Academic Dr. Vandana Khare, Principal Dr. Puran Gour, and other faculty members present. The NSS unit promotes holistic development through such initiatives.

National Pollution Control Day – NIIST Bhopal
NIIST Bhopal observed National Pollution Control Day on Dec 2, 2025, with theme “Sustainable Living for Greener Future”. Events included speech on Bhopal Gas Tragedy by key note speaker Dr. P.K Shrivastava Scientist M.P Pollution Control board , PPT, poster making, speech & model presentation competitions. 150+ students participated.

NRI Institute of information science & Technology organized Educational tour Regional science Centre Bhopal for first-year students
The Institutions Innovation Council Cell of NRI Institute of Information Science and Technology, Bhopal is organizing an educational tour Regional science centre bhopal for first-year students. The tour aims to help students understand and learn various aspects of science, with 150 students participating. The tour will be supervised by Dr. Mukesh Singh, Prof. Jalaj Tenguria, and Prof. Divya Shrivastava.
NRI Institute of information science & Technology organized a blood donation camp
The occasion of world AIDS Day on December 1, 2025, NRI Institute of information science & Technology Bhopal organized a blood donation camp . 158 people registered, and 75 units of blood were collected. The event was attended by HDFC Bank and Bhopal Memorial Hospital teams, with participation from 25 NSS volunteers, 10 faculty members, and students.
Two-days Drone Expo & Workshop was organized by MPCST on 30th and 31st October to commemorate Madhya Pradesh’s Foundation Day.
Diwali Utsav Celebration – 16/10/2025
The first-year students NIIST showcased an impressive Rangoli program during the Diwali celebration. The event was graced by the presence of esteemed Principal Dr. Puran Gour and Dr. Vandana Khare, Dean Academics.
