E Yantra Nodal Centre
The objective of this center is to enhance the technical skills of faculty of Engineering colleges so that the quality of the projects could be improved.
NRI-IIT Bombay E- Yantra Nodal center has been established in the year 2014 under the E-YANTRA Project of National Mission on Education through Information Communication and Technology (NMEICT) an initiative-taken by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India.
IIT Bombay Resource Centre
NRI -IIT Bombay resource center has been established at our institute under “ Talk to Teacher”, NMEICT project of MHRD, GOI.
The objective of this project is to make India IT literate, with the help of spoken tutorials prepared by IIT Bombay. The resource center has been established on 23rd March 2013. This center has been coordinated by Prof. Madhu Upadhyay Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering Department.
It is a privilege for us that our center has been awarded a Three Star Resource Centre by IIT Bombay on the basis of outstanding performance.
IIT Bombay Remote Centre
NRI-IIT Bombay remote center has been established in the year 2012 under one of the projects “Train 10,000 teachers” of the National Mission on Education Through Information Communication & Technology (NMEICT) of the Ministry of human resource development, Govt. Of India, (MHRD, GOI).
Till now under the banner of the remote centers, a total of 19 numbers of main workshops and 14 coordinators workshop have been organized of various streams of engineering.
All workshops conducted under this center are funded by the Ministry Of Human Resource Development, GOI.
Virtual Lab
A virtual lab – is an initiative of the Ministry Of Human Resources & Development, under the National Mission on Education through ICT.
- It is an interactive environment for creating and conducting simulated environments.
- It allows us to share physical resources available in a laboratory with remote users connected through the internet. Considering the benefits which can be derived through the virtual lab.
- NRIIST took an initiative to set up Virtual Lab in the Institute.

HCL
HCL is NRI’s channel partner for the Training and Placement program for final year and pre-final year BE students. HCL conducts free technical sessions and lectures for the students of NRI Group of Institutions on the latest technologies. It conducts interview preparatory sessions for all the final year students of NGI so that they can face the Campus Drive of HCL confidently. It conducts an IQ assessment for Pre-Final & Final year students. NGI is proud to proclaim itself as a preferred partner of HCL for making its students employable by placing them in reputed companies like HCL.

The Indian Navy
NRI Group is the only institution in Bhopal where the recruitment drive takes place for selections in the Indian Navy. During the Naval recruitment drives, NRI Campus has a footfall of hundreds of students from various institutions in and around Bhopal. NRI students also get the opportunities to attend various seminars by senior officials from the Indian Navy, which prepares them for the Indian Navy Campus Recruitment drive. NGI also takes pride in joining hands with the Indian Navy to organize Campus drives and giving opportunities to the students of the Group.

Hanseo University -South Korea
NIIST Bhopal has signed MOU with South Korean University – Hanseo University for the exchange of students and faculty as well.
Under this MOU our students and faculty can go for their higher studies with a full scholarship.
This aids in the exchange of knowledge & technology that will help in NATION BUILDING.
Indo-German Tool Room
NGI has joined hands with IGTR. It is one of the training centers in Bhopal to train not only the students but also students of nearby areas with the aim of providing to get exposure in various fields & make them employable.

- To increase the employability & be the role models for others.
About IGTR
Indo German Tool Room, Indore – is a Govt. of India. Society established with the technical and financial co-operation from the Federal Republic of Germany & State Govt. of Madhya Pradesh.
IGTR is already conducting various AICTE and NGVT approved long term courses.
Objective
The Main Objectives of IGTR are
- Designing and Manufacturing of Quality Press Tools, Die Casting Dies, Moulds, Jigs, Fixtures and Gauges and components as per customer requirements conforming to International Standards.
- Trained manpower to the industry through Long Term, Medium Term, and Short Term Courses in CAD/CAM/CAE/CNC Machining, and Tool & Die Technology.
- Providing Consultancy to the Total Tooling Solutions for product development, productivity enhancement, and quality improvement.
- The above objectives are being fulfilled through an ultra-modern Tool Room having the latest machines from Germany, USA, and Switzerland and a Training center providing a vast spectrum of training courses in Tool Room related areas, for the benefit of working professionals, engineers, and students.
