Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC)
Objectives
- To solve and redress the grievances of each student with a transparent and fair approach.
- To aware and encourage the students to report and inform their grievances without any fear of ill-treatment.
- To process all the complaints and take immediate suitable actions as required.
- To maintain cordial and harmonious educational atmosphere in the VISMT
Mechanism
VISMT has constituted a Grievance and Redressal Cell (GRC) as per UGC Grievance Redressal regulation 2018 (https://www.ugc.ac.in/pdfnews/1406982_Public- Notice-on-Grievance-redressal.pdf). This cell works towards resolving the complaints lodged by any student. The Grievance Redressal Cell is also empowered to look into the matters of any type of harassment.
Anyone with a genuine grievance may approach the Principal and members of GRC. In case the student is unwilling to appear in person, the written grievance may be submitted to the GRC anonymously which is looked after by GRC and is forwarded to the Principal accordingly.
