IIT BOMBAY – SUPER RESOURCE CENTER
IIT Bombay has certified NRI Institute of Research & Technology, Bhopal (NIRT) as a SUPER RESOURCE CENTER for the Spoken Tutorial Project on 26th Feb 2016. The Spoken Tutorial project is the initiative of the “Talk to a Teacher” project of the National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (ICT), launched by MHRD, Govt of India. Since it is MHRD funded so the entire program with certificates is free of cost.
MICROSOFT – CENTER OF EXCELLENCE
Microsoft has selected NRI Institute of Research & Technology as Center for MICROSOFT AZURE CLOUD COMPUTING for promoting Academic and Industrial Research on 24. Feb. 2016. Prof. Anand Motwani (HOD-CSE Department) is the Coordinator for the same. Microsoft has provided 40 license subscriptions worth $ 51000 to the institute. The subscription allows performing the latest experiments on Cloud such as creating a virtual machine, data analytics platform, mobile application, web application, etc.
IIT DELHI NODAL CENTER
IIT DELHI has a certified NRI Institute of Research & Technology, Bhopal (NIRT) as a NODAL CENTER for Virtual Labs. The inauguration of Virtual Labs was held on 5th April 2016. Dr. P.N. Singh (Director NIRT) nominated Prof. Amrata Soni as a Nodal Coordinator. This project is a part of the National Mission on Education through ICT, MHRD, Govt. of India.
