Environment Day- 05th June 2026
The Department of Management, NRI Group, celebrated International Environment Day on 05 June 2026 with great enthusiasm and commitment towards environmental sustainability.
As part of the celebration, a plantation drive was organized within the campus premises. Faculty members, staff, and students actively participated in the plantation activity, emphasizing the importance of preserving nature and creating a greener environment.
The event was graced by the presence of the Principal of NIAMS Dr. L.S. Panigrahi and the Director of VISMT, Dr. P.K. Sharma, who encouraged the participants to contribute towards environmental conservation through responsible and sustainable practices. They highlighted the significance of tree plantation in maintaining ecological balance and combating climate change.
The programme successfully spread awareness about environmental protection and inspired everyone to take proactive steps for a cleaner and greener future. The celebration concluded with a collective pledge to nurture and protect the planted saplings and continue supporting environmental initiatives.

The program was held under the guidance of Dr. Puran Gour (Principal, NIIST) and Dr. Abhay Shankar Mishra (HOD, Management), with the presence of Dr. Vaishali Rathi, Dr. Anita Mishra, Dr. Vandana Khare, Dr. Rekha Pandey, along with faculty, staff, and students of the NRI Group who made the event a great success.

Finance Club Activity-16th January 2026
The Department of Management, NRI Institute of Information Science & Technology, Bhopal successfully organized an Expert Session on Commodity Markets & Career Opportunities on 16 January 2026 at the NIIST Multimedia Hall. The session was delivered by the esteemed speaker, Mr. Anish Vyas, Assistant Manager – Training & Education, Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd. The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Puran Gour Sir, Dr. Vandana Khare Ma’am and Dr. Abhay Shankar Mishra Sir. More than 50 students from the management department attended the session with great enthusiasm. The lecture was highly enlightening and informative, providing valuable insights into the functioning of commodity markets and various career opportunities available in the sector. The interactive discussion enhanced students’ understanding and motivated them towards professional growth.
Marketing Club Activity-13th January 2026
The Department of Management, NIIST, Bhopal, successfully organized a Workshop on “Startup Blueprint: From Idea to Market” along with the BizPitch Arena – Market Pitch Presentation Competition on 13th January 2026 at the Lata Mangeshkar Auditorium.
The workshop was attended by 151 students and was conducted by Dr. Siddharth Shukla, who delivered an enriching and interactive session on the startup ecosystem, idea validation, market feasibility, and real-world business challenges. The session provided students with practical insights beyond classroom learning.
The BizPitch Arena competition witnessed participation from 8 groups, each comprising 6 members, offering students a platform to showcase innovative ideas and enhance their confidence, presentation, and strategic thinking skills. The competition was evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges including Dr. Siddharth Shukla, Dr. Puran Gour, Dr. Vandana Khare, and Dr. Abhay Shankar Mishra. Out of the participating teams, three groups secured the First, Second, and Third positions. Certificates were awarded to all participants and winners.
The event achieved its objectives successfully and received enthusiastic participation and positive feedback, making it a successful and impactful academic initiative.
