Visit to NIHSAD on 02/02/2024
The National Institute of High Security Animal Diseases (NIHSAD) of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) facility at Anand Nagar, Bhopal, was visited by students of NIRT-Pharmacy Institute. Director of ICAR Bhopal Dr. Aniket Sanyal gives a brief overview of the initiatives underway at the organization. Dr. Sanyal discussed vaccine technology produced in the lab as well as proteomics and genomics strategies. Drug discovery and research in the pharmaceutical industry were discussed by Dr. Kuldeep Sigh Patel, Principal, NIRT-Pharmacy. Dr. Sanyal advises concentrating on drug discovery and pharmacodynamic-pharmacokinetics studies. Additionally, they discuss the selectivity of targets in proteomics and genomics.
Principal Scientist Dr. H. V. Murugkar gave the students a tour of the ICAR labs via documentary. Two groups of our students were visited by Dr. A.K. Pateriya and G. Venkatesh, who gave tours of several departments and labs at ICAR. Senior Technical Officer R.K. Shukla greeted us and assisted in setting up this visit.during visits B.pharma students was present and staffs Dr.Arvind Jain, Ms.Vijeta Rajoriya, Ms.Shefali soni, Mr.Abhisbek kumar, Ms.Richa Dubey, Ms.Mahi banbare, Ms.Kshama Jain, Ms.Vijaya Misha, Mr.Ritesh limje, Mr.Sarad soni, Ms.Shanti Patel, Mr.Aditya, Mr.Deepak Patel was present.
