Pharmacist Day Celebration at NRI Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bhopal
NRI Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bhopal, celebrated Pharmacist Day on 25th and 26th September 2026 on theme “Empowering Pharmacists for Healthier Futures” with great enthusiasm and a series of engaging academic, professional, and social activities..
The two-day celebration commenced with an Opening Ceremony, bringing together faculty members and students to celebrate the pharmacy profession and its growing significance in modern healthcare. As part of the celebration, a Pharmacist Oath Taking Ceremony was organized, Where Dr. Jagdish C. Rathi, Principal, NRI Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bhopal, administered the Pharmacist Oath to all the students, who solemnly pledged to uphold the dignity of the pharmacy profession and discharge their professional responsibilities with integrity, compassion, ethics, and dedication towards the service of society.
The second day featured an Innovative Pharmacy Business Idea Competition, providing students with a platform to present creative and entrepreneurial ideas related to pharmacy and healthcare. The competition encouraged innovation, critical thinking, problem-solving, and an entrepreneurial mindset among budding pharmacists.
A Quiz Competition was also conducted to enhance students’ knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences, healthcare, medicines, and current developments in the profession. Adding a community-oriented dimension to the celebration, a Health Check-up Camp was organized to promote health awareness and preventive healthcare. The initiative reflected the important role pharmacists can play in supporting public health and creating awareness about healthy living.
The event provided students with valuable learning experiences while inspiring them to become competent, ethical, and socially responsible healthcare professionals.
