On the occasion of Pharmacist day, Pharmacy Students of NRI Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bhopal conducted different activities like Pharma Rangoli, planation of medicinal plants, health checkup camp to aware public for healthier living habits. Students also made aware the public for organ donation. Dr Jagdish Rathi Principal NIPS said on the occasion “Pharmacists represent the 3rd largest healthcare professional group in the world and working in various positions, applying their unique knowledge and skills, contributing to the health of the nation and this is the good initiative of young pharmacist to create awareness.
World’s Pharmacist Day was celebrated by the NRI INSTITUTE OF PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES. The event was organized on 26th September 2022 with (Health awareness camp) followed by – Eye check by ( ASG HOSPITAL), BLOOD GROUP DETECTION, BMI CHECK UP, SUGAR LEVEL CHECK, BLOOD PRESSURE ETC by students of NIPS.
It aims to develop and showcase the pharmacist and its positive effect on health. “From research to health care” This reflects the numerous contributions of the pharmacy as a profession for better health.
From research and development of medicines to educating future pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists, and providing direct care, we do all this in the service of our ever-growing industry.
