Industrial visit for students of NRI Institute

NRI Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (NIPS) organized an industrial visit to Park Benz laboratory Limited, Mandideep for the final year students of B.Pharma. The students were exposed to the area planning, facilities, design, construction, and manufacturing of sterile products. Plant head, Mr. Rajkumar Kathal, addressed the students and provided valuable information regarding the plant. The members of faculty, Prof. Rahul Mathur and Prof. Shweta accompanied the students on this visit. As a part of the visit, the students also had an opportunity to get acquainted with the HEPA filter, Sterility Unit, clean area, Controlled clean area, Clarity Apparatus, Pyrogen Test, Filling, and packaging of parenteral products. The student found the visit of great academic interest. D Subodh Singh, Chairman NRI Group appreciated the efforts of the Principal Dr. Jagdish Rathi for organizing such visits where the students are provided a platform to correlate their theory with practical application in the pharma manufacturing field.
