NRI Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, popularly known as ‘NIPS’ was established in the year 2004. It is one of the leading and fastest growing academic institutions, which run under the able guidance of great visionary Mr. D. Subodh Singh, Chairman, NRI Group of Institutions. NRI Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences is a premium institute of Madhya Pradesh offering Diploma, Bachelor and Masters in Pharmacy in 2 branches (P’Ceutics, P’Cology). The institute is duly approved by PCI, AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal. The Institute is located at a lush green area of Sajjan Singh Nagar, Khajuri Kalan, opposite Patel Nagar, Raisen Road, close to BHEL Township. It is fully connected by city bus service.

The Sophisticated Instrument Lab provides analytical support and intellectual input to both in-house and externally funded R & D projects of the Institute. Centralized machine room is equipped with Rotary tablet machine, Automated Dissolution apparatus, Tray Drier, Stability Chamber, Hammer mill, Ball mill Ampoule, capsule and ointment filling machine etc. The laboratory provides the facilities to get an idea regarding the functioning of machines at all levels by the students.

NRI Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences has research labs for Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical chemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology. The institute is registered with CPCSEA, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India for experiments on animals. Excellent infrastructure is available to ensure high level quality education. Campus is spread over an area of 25 acres with ample space for educational, sport, cultural and co-curricular activities.

Environment is serene and conducive to high academic pursuits. All the laboratories and classrooms are as per the regulation of Pharmacy Council of India. The Institute has an excellent academic record of more than 90% result for last 11 years. Many reputed Pharmaceutical companies like Lupin, Aristo, Ranbexy, Cipla, Ipca are situated nearby places. Hence the location is best suited for optimum Industry-Academia interaction and offers the best potential of suitable placements for graduating students. Many of the NIPS alumni now hold prominent positions in industry and academia.

Established under the aegis of the Taramathi Educational Society in 2004, the institute has been a nurturing ground for pharmaceutical professionals. NRI Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (NIPS) offers D Pharm., B Pharm., M Pharm in four branches. In a short span of 10 years, NIPS has made significant inroads in the sphere of pharmaceutical education and research. This has been achieved by outstanding student participation in various activities ably supported by highly qualified and motivated faculty and a world-class infrastructure. In keeping with its objective of providing the best possible pharmaceutical education, the college has built up a strong infrastructure.

Continuous interaction with industry is maintained to ensure that the learning program remains relevant to the changing trends in pharmaceuticals. The college is constantly seeking to upgrade the quality of its education and actively participates in research to remain on the cutting edge. I believe in the all round development of students, so a variety of teaching aids are used as instructional methods. We at NIPS, strive hard to mould the budding professionals, competent in knowledge and skills, powered with values, so that they can be better humans and best professionals in future.
