Expert session on Cyber Crime and Traffic Awareness
NRI Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bhopal, hosted an enlightening session on Cyber Security and Traffic Rules Awareness. Miss Priya Sindhi, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and Mr. Virendra Sen, TI from Bilkhiria Police Station were the speakers for the sessions.
Session 1: Cyber Security Awareness by Miss Priya Sindhi, DSP
Miss Priya Sindhi started the session by emphasizing the importance of cyber security in today’s digital era. She highlighted the growing threat of cybercrimes and current incidences of digital arrest. The DSP provided valuable insights into Safe online practices, protecting personal data on social media, avoiding online scams and fraudulent activities. Miss Sindhi also shared real-life examples of cybercrime cases and encouraged the audience to be attentive and proactive in reporting any suspicious activity.
Session 2: Traffic Rules Awareness by Mr. Virendra Sen, TI
Mr. Virendra Sen’s session was focused on following traffic rules for road safety. In his session, He covered Traffic signal obedience, Speed limits, zebra crossings, Helmet and seatbelt usage, Safe driving practices, Consequences of violating traffic rules. He also encouraged the audience to support initiatives promoting road safety.
The session concluded with a Q&A session, where the speakers answered the queries of the audience. The event was well-received, with attendees expressing appreciation for the informative and engaging presentations. Principal Dr Jagdish Rathi expressed his gratitude to both the speakers for sessions to promote awareness.
