On 15th May 2025, the students of NRI Institute of Pharmacy, Bhopal, undertook an educational visit to the ICAR-National Institute of High Security Animal Diseases (NIHSAD), Bhopal. The visit was aimed at enhancing students’ understanding of advanced research in virology, zoonotic diseases, and high biosafety laboratory practices. During the visit, students were briefed about the institute’s role in diagnosing, researching, and controlling highly infectious animal diseases. The visit provided valuable insights into cutting-edge scientific research and the importance of biosafety in handling pathogenic microorganisms. The interaction with scientists and research staff proved to be an enriching experience, fostering greater awareness and interest in the field of veterinary science and public health.
