Chat Club

Objective

  • To make the students face the group and to remove their hesitation so that they can communicate fluently with each other.
  • An endeavor to make the students comfortable with the English language and make them effective speakers.

The faculty co-ordinator of Chat Club is Prof. K.K.Patel, Corporate Trainer. This activity started on 7th October 2013 with the objective of building English ambience in the Institution. This activity is conducted daily during lunch hours. The session includes voice and accent, proper pronunciations, vocabulary building and activities like extempore, group discussions GDs, debates and abstract GDs. This would build up their proper articulation and diction. A huge number of placed students in various companies have been the regular members of Chat Club.

Fine Nine

Objective

A talk about – the current affairs, words of wisdom and social causes by the students in the morning sessions

The faculty co-ordinator of Fine Nine is Prof. K.K.Patel, Corporate Trainer.

 The session starts at sharp 9am,  where students from all the colleges of the Group participate whole heartedly.

Before entering the threshold of NIIST, students start the day with ‘Fine Nine’ in order to bring positive vibrations among them. The session includes 3 minutes of motivational talk, 3 minutes of tech talk and 3 minutes of discussions on social and current affairs. This builds up a lot of confidence in the students and removes their hesitation.
