Principal, Part Time Courses & Vice Principal NIIST

"Education is a shared commitment between dedicated teachers and motivated students with high expectations"

As we step into this new academic year, filled with hope and dreams of scaling new heights, I believe my role as a Vice-Principal is to guide and nurture the next generation to establish skills to achieve health, respect, prosperity and fulfillment. Today, the role of NIIST, is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate and empower its students to be lifelong productive members of an ever-changing global society. Students should keep in mind the importance of planning and prioritizing their time and the effective use of it which are essential to achieve success I am passionate about students being empowered to succeed. As Vice-Principal, I use all tools available to motivate staff, students and community to work together to promote student achievement and well-being. To borrow John Hattie's words; "teachers should build classroom climates where having errors are welcome, student engagement is the norm, questioning is high and students gain reputations as effective learners." I encourage the students to grab the opportunity and participate in extra-curricular activities so that they can build their confidence and team work. Hard work, dedication and perseverance are the most important traits in a person that lead to success. The future belongs to you; your need, therefore, you need to prepare yourself for an active participation in the world. This participation demands that you become well informed and hence develop yourself like a pioneer and ultimately grow as responsible men and women.

“We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future”. Remember “The reward of every good action will be good only”.
